Devthropology – Better Insights for GitHub Repos

Devthropology cuts GitHub pull request data into angles that the default repo interface ignores: contribution patterns over time, review behavior, cycle time trends, that kind of thing. The honest description is an exploratory analytics layer on top of public repo data, built by someone who wanted to understand their own codebase better. What it is not, at least not yet, is a polished product competing with LinearB or Swarmia on team performance metrics. The 'passion project' framing is accurate and the feature set reflects it — interesting to poke at, not ready to replace anything in your current tooling stack. The value is as a quick, free lens on a repo you are inheriting or evaluating. Reservation: no obvious AI hook beyond the category label, it is mostly data slicing. -> Best for: technical PM or solo founder doing due diligence on an open-source codebase before building on top of it
