Cloudback MCP Server

Cloudback MCP Server wires Cloudback's GitHub repository backup service into the MCP protocol, letting an AI coding assistant check backup status, trigger runs, or manage schedules without leaving the editor. The use case is narrow: you have to already be a Cloudback customer, and backup management is not a task most developers do frequently enough to justify a new integration path. That said, if your team treats Cloudback as part of a compliance or disaster-recovery workflow and you are already deep in an MCP-enabled setup, removing the context switch to a separate dashboard has genuine small value. The integration itself appears to be a thin wrapper over the existing Cloudback API — which is fine, that is what MCP connectors are, but do not expect it to do anything the web UI cannot. -> Best for: SaaS team of 2-5 with an existing Cloudback subscription and an MCP-enabled development environment
